At Bryce Wildlife Adventure, our focus is to provide individuals and families with exiting and healthy recreation and a chance to become acquainted with nature and local wildlife. We also showcase a large herd of live exotic deer that can be hand fed upon request. Our exhibits focus on wildlife from all over the world. In addition to featuring wildlife exhibits, we also have artifacts from ancient Indians – like the Anasazi and Piute – that lived in this area. Our exhibits are excellent resources for learning about natural history and wildlife.
Events
The Bryce Canyon Half Marathon began in 2002 and has seen dramatic growth as it continues each June. What an amazing opportunity for dedicated runners to challenge themselves among some of the most awe inspiring scenery in Southern Utah. The Half Marathon also provides and opportunity for you to bring your family out and enjoy the local scenery, quaint communities, and rustic atmosphere of Bryce Valley. The Race begins near the entrance of Bryce Canyon National Park and travels down Scenic Byway 12 to the finish line at the Cannonville Town Park.
This race is picking up steam. In its second year it is the race to be in! Run through some of the most amazing country there is to offer. The Marathon is held on Utah’s All-American Highway, Scenic Byway 12. It starts near Hell’s Backbone Grill in Boulder, Utah, then runs in a southwest direction and is mostly downhill until Mile 12, where the road crosses the Escalante RiverIt then turns northwest and is mostly uphill until Mile 18. From Mile 18 on, the course is a gradual westward descent to the finish line in Escalante, Utah. Come and enjoy Scenic Escalante, located between Capital Reef National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park.
The Bryce Canyon Music Camp began in 2010 and has proven to be a wonderful opportunity for any student of music to learn from very accomplished music professionals such as Dr. Timothy (Terry) Durbin, Jack Ashton of the Utah Symphony, and others. Students to receive lessons, individually and in groups, providing motivation and reinforcement for their normal study at home. “Our goals are to promote the joy of music and the thrill of accomplishment…and to inspire all who attend with the strength of Dr. Suzuki’s vision.
